Dojo Kun
These are the rules of the White Rose Budo Dojo. These are the behaviours and characteristics that all of the karateka who enter the Dojo follow.
Gi - Integrity
I will always try to do the right thing not the easy thing.
Rei - Respect
I will respect all people and things including the dojo, Sensei’s and others.
Yu - Courage
I will push myself to learn, progress and get better, never giving up.
Meiyo - Honour
I will act with honour and refrain from violence when it can be avoided.
Jin - Compassion
I will show compassion and empathy for people, helping where I can.
Makato - Honesty
I will always be honest.
Chu - Loyalty
I will be loyal to the teaching of Gojyu Ryu, my dojo and fellow students.
